National Cadets Corps (Students Uniform Group) in India was established in 1948 as voluntary organisation which recruits cadets from high schools, colleges and universitiesn all over India.

The NCC with the motto: "Unity and Discipline", strive to be and is the greatest cohesive force of the nation, bringing together the youth hailing from different parts of our country and molding them into united, secular and disciplined citizens of our nation.

The NCC girls division was fromed in 1949 to give equal opportunities to school and college going girls. Bailey Baptist College established the NCC girls division from in the 2015 to give opportunity to every Bailian girl students to be part of the country's biggest students force.
